Our Staff
Jeff Armbrester -Pastor-
11 Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. 12 Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ. 13 This will continue until we all come to such unity in our faith and knowledge of God’s Son that we will be mature in the Lord, measuring up to the full and complete standard of Christ. Ephesians 4:11-13 (NLT)
There are many expectations of who a pastor is to be and what a pastor is to do. The passage above is who I am called to be and what I am called to do. First, and foremost, I am a child of God who has been saved from my sin through God’s Son, Jesus Christ. Through the Holy Spirit I am being transformed into the image of Christ so that God can love others through me. Second, Jesus has given me the abilities to be a pastor and teacher so I can assist others as they grow in their relationship with God. The Lord has given me many opportunities to learn how to grow as a Christian and how to assist others in their relationship with God.
The greatest gift God has given me is my wife, Lisa. We were married on August 8, 1987. God has worked through each of us to perfect the other and I know that God will complete this wonderful work he has begun in us. Lisa and I have three adult sons: Adam, Aaron (daughter-in-law Katie), and Seth.
We are honored to be a part of the Hamilton United Methodist Church family and are excited about growing together in Christ.
